This bone Mjolnir pendant is carved by hand from natural cattle bone and follows the proportions of early Viking Age Thor’s Hammer amulets. Such pendants were worn as personal objects, often simple in shape and practical in size.
The pendant is carved on both sides. One side bears a vertical line of runes carved directly into the bone. The opposite side is decorated with a knotwork pattern. These two sides belong to the same pendant, not separate pieces.
Bone was widely used in the Viking world for everyday items and small amulets. It ages well, feels warm to the touch, and develops character over time. Each pendant shows small differences in color and surface texture, which come from the natural material and hand carving process.
The pendant is supplied with an adjustable black waxed cotton cord and is ready to wear.
