This bracelet is a hand-forged interpretation of the twisted and woven arm rings associated with early medieval Gotland. The body is made from six individual brass rods, woven and shaped entirely by hand using traditional blacksmithing tools. This technique produces a structured, durable design similar to woven metalwork found in Scandinavian archaeological collections.
The terminals depict raven heads, cast separately before being fitted to the bracelet. Ravens appear frequently in Norse art and literature, and the sculptural style of the terminals follows forms known from early medieval metalwork.
Sized for wrists 17–19 cm (6.7–7.5 inches), the bracelet can be made in custom dimensions on request. At approximately 50 g, it is substantial without being overly heavy. The hand-applied antique bronze-toned finish enhances the texture of the weave.
Each bracelet is produced by the Algizrune Art Workshop in Europe using historical methods.
