This hand-carved rook is based on the famous Lewis Chessmen, a group of medieval chess pieces from the late 12th to early 13th century. Made from naturally shed moose antler, it recreates the Berserker figure with its traditional conical helmet, round shield, and long sword.

Each figure is carved using traditional methods at the Algizrune Workshop, capturing the stylistic features found in the original pieces excavated in Scotland. The natural texture of antler and the manual carving process ensure that every rook has its own character and small variations.
