Handmade Mjolnir Thor’s Hammer Pendant – Pewter Viking Warrior Amulet

This handcrafted Mjolnir necklace is modelled after Viking Age bronze pendants from the 9th–12th centuries, capturing the powerful symbolism of Thor’s hammer in a traditional pewter design. Made by artisans from the war-affected Sumy region of Ukraine, it reflects both historical craftsmanship and contemporary resilience.

Each pendant is created using the lost-wax casting technique. A beeswax model is sculpted, molten pewter is poured into the mold, and the final piece is polished entirely by hand. The texture and form echo ancient Norse techniques once used by Viking smiths to forge ritual objects and protective amulets.

In Norse mythology, Mjolnir was crafted by the dwarven brothers Sindri and Brokkr and became Thor’s emblem of protection, thunder, and divine authority. This pendant continues that legacy as a symbol of strength, endurance, and ancestral heritage.
