Viking Wolf Warrior Amulet – Brass or Pewter
This handcrafted Viking pendant is based on the wolf-themed warrior imagery found on the famous Torslunda Plates from Öland, Sweden (7th–10th century). These archaeological masterpieces depict ceremonial warriors wearing helmets shaped like powerful animals, including the wolf — a creature deeply rooted in Norse storytelling.
Cast in brass or pewter, this pendant has the look and feel of early medieval craftsmanship. Wolves held a complex place in Norse myth: Odin’s companions Geri and Freki symbolized endurance and loyalty, while Fenrir embodied unstoppable strength and the raw forces of nature. The presence of wolves in Viking art reflected both their admiration and awe.
The amulet is made using traditional lost-wax casting, finished by hand, and each one is slightly unique. At 45 mm tall, it serves as a meaningful piece for daily wear, ceremonial use, or display.
This pendant is ideal for collectors, Viking enthusiasts, and anyone drawn to the depth and duality of wolf symbolism in Norse culture.
